This is pretty much a face that I wear daily to work or for casual outings, with slight variations on the exact shades used.
The eye look is very soft but defined at the lashes and socket using browns. Here, I used a metallic brown pencil and very pearlescent blush, but on most days I’ll use a matte brown and a less shimmery blusher.
Setting Powder: Heroine Make Mineral BB Loose Powder 01
Blush: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lust (you can get a similar glowing pink cheek effect by swirling your brush over all 4 shades of The Body Shop’s new Spring 2014 Shimmer Cubes 26!)
Brows: Shu Uemura Hard Formula 9 pencil in Seal Brown + Canmake Coloring Brow Mascara 01
Eyeshadows: Dior 5 Couleur palette in 754 Rosy Tan
Brown liner: Bourjois Effet Metallise pencil in 52
Black mascara: Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black
Lipstick: Rouge Dior Nude Lip Blush* in 263 Swan
A note on Lip Blush: This is a sub-range of the new Rouge Diors (remember the recent ad with Natalie Portman in a soft red 999). Unlike the other Rouge Diors, this group of nude tones are created to work like color-perfecting lip balms that add a “blush” effect on the lips so they never look too corpse-like.
